The Company
Jayar Car Parts was established in 1976. The company was formed in Aylesford, Maidstone and still the hometown of Head Office today.

The business is still family run and independently owned and has now grown to become one of the largest independent distributors of car parts & accessories with 43 branches across the South of England.

Overview
This is a newly created role within the business. The objective will be to implement, analyse and deliver reports and actionable business insight to the senior management team and directors to drive the business forward.

This is an office-based role and therefore the suitable candidate must be prepared to commute on a daily basis to our head office in Aylesford, Kent.

Job Brief
We are looking for a passionate and certified Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business reporting & decisions.

Role & Responsibilities
· Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
· Production and delivery of dashboards and reporting to provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly overviews of the business to monitor alongside a standard set of metrics and KPIs.
· Create new reports by understanding the requirements from the senior management team and the directors
· Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems
· Analysing the companies supplier’s information such as pricing & part number cross referencing
· Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
· Ability to actively engage with the senior management team and directors to ensure all reports are delivered accurately and efficiently

Skills
· Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
· Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize and analyse significant amounts of data and information with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good people skills and able to work within a busy environment
· Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
· Strong Excel skills
· Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction
· Microsoft Access preferable
· Experience and understanding of using BI tools preferable

Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30, No weekends
