Your new company
You will work for a professional organisation in the education sector. The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring all financial processes and procedures are carried out effectively. This is a full-time / permanent position, but we may also consider part-time applicants.

Your new role

* Maintain accounts in accordance with sound financial practices.
* Ensure that accounts are up-to-date and maintained accurately to allow the FC, HoF, HBO, and Deputy CEO to use the accounts to inform decision-making.
* Monitor and review the work of the Central Finance Team to ensure that lal income and expenditure is accounted for and is recorded in the appropriate codes/funds.
* Manage and support the finance team (2 direct reports) in their understanding of fund accounting and correct accounting principles by demonstrating best practice and leading by example.

What you\'ll need to succeed

* Experience working with Microsoft Excel
* Experience of reporting budgets to non-financial personnel
* Experience within a similar role
* Ideally, working towards ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ACA

What you\'ll get in return
Salary of £33,000 - £35,000 per annum.
