An exciting opportunity with an established Managing General Agency that underwrite a variety of specialist worldwide energy risk solutions. Our client is looking for an experienced insurance market professional who can oversee a diverse array of different functions across finance, company secretariat and compliance.

This role will appeal to applicants who are resourceful, adaptable, pro-active and thrive in a role where multi-tasking and collaboration are essential.

* Maintain accurate accounting records
* Check month-end via sage
* Reconciliations and reporting
* Assist in preparing budgets and oversee cashflow
* Develop and oversee compliance procedures and controls
* Deal with FCA and Lloyds regulatory breaches
* Ensure any regulatory changes are integrated
* Oversee regulatory reporting requirements
* Ensure compliance with Company Law
* Timely submissions and registrations
* Maintain records of Board meetings and AGM's
* Handle renewal of all insurance covers

Our client realises that due to the diversity of responsibilities in the role, interested applicants may not have extensive experience in every area of finance, company secretariat and compliance. They are happy to consider candidates who have some knowledge and expertise in one or two of the disciplines and who are willing to learn and develop new skills with guidance and support.

The only other essential requirement is that candidates have a solid, proven track record working in a general insurance business.

What you need to know:

* Permanent role
* Based in the City of London with hybrid home working flexibility for part of the week
* Salary between £65,000 and £85,000
