Public Sector Organisation (based in East Kent) are looking for a new Head Of Finance, this is a key role in the organisation, and we are looking for an inspirational, dynamic, and proactive person, who has great communication and can support a wide diverse group of officers and members. Someone who wants to develop and grow their own staff and together make a real difference in how the finance service is delivered.

Your new role

* Providing strategic financial guidance and direction to support the organisation's ambitious goals and objectives.
* Lead, inspire, and manage a talented and dedicated finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate plan objectives within a challenging financial environment for local authorities.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance, ensure robust controls are followed, and collaborate with stakeholders.
* As well as all the usual areas you would expect a Head of Finance to be involved in.

What you'll need to succeed

* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Experience working in the public sector would be advantageous although not essential
* Experience managing and running a finance function
* Strong leadership
* Excellent communication

What you'll get in return
The Head of Finance Role is paying circa £70,000 + other benefits and Flexible working options available.
