About this role
As a resident involvement officer, you'll be ensuring the residents' voice is at the heart of our decision-making and helping to drive service improvement.
We need someone exceptionally well-organised to keep a busy programme of activities and events on track, and who is confident with data and reporting. You may not have experience directly in the housing sector, but we'll need someone who understands working within regulatory frameworks. Skills in customer or volunteer engagement are important, and you'll also be interested in the wider political landscape and understand the current issues affecting social housing.
You'll be overseeing a range of involvement activities such as running discussion groups, facilitating meetings, and working with involved groups of residents to review our services and policies.
You'll also support our resident scrutiny panel to analyse our performance information and carry out reviews of service areas.
As well as working with residents, you'll be building relationships internally to ensure the successful delivery of our resident involvement strategy and buy-in from all staff, so you'll need to be someone who can build a great rapport with people.
If this sounds like you, and you're someone who feels passionate about amplifying voices and making things better, we'd love to hear from you.
Benefits
We offer a great package – generous pension and life cover, health cash plan, flexible leave package which includes an additional three days leave for our Christmas closure, paid time off to volunteer and an annual grant to support your wellbeing. Please see our website for more details about our benefits package.
